Jacques Lassainge was among the growers who planted the first vines in Montgueux in the 1960s. Since taking over in 1999, his son Emmanuel has turned this into one of Champagne's top rated producers. "La Collne Inspirée" ("the inspired hill") expresses the village's characteristic flavors of mango and tropical citrus.
We fell in love with this cuvée when we visited Emmanuel in 2019. Nothing like tasting Champagnes and listening to his Jazz collection, while overlooking their parcels in Montgueux.
