Their Story: “This estate is located so far up the Seine it nearly ends up in the Côte d’Or. But it is very much on the French wine enthusiast’s radar screens thanks to its prominently biodynamic* methods…” Robert M. Parker, Jr.
Definitely the best producer in the Aube. Fleury is situated in Couteron, a village that is closer to Chablis than Reims. Their methods are as Burgandian as their location. Mr. Fleury is obsessed with quality. His low dosage let’s the terroir shine through - and produces a very dry & exciting Blanc de Noirs (100% Pinot Noir)
* Biodynamic production methods are the strictest form of organic viniculture. Biodynamic wine is not only 100% organic, in addition, the grower has gone beyond to try to bring the farming process more closely in tune with nature.
