Their Story: Pierre Péters is rated by Robert Parker as "outstanding" and one of the top 15 producers in Champagne.
Rudolphe Péters, son of François Péters is now at the helm this renowned Côte des Blancs estate. As many of you have discovered these are blow-your-mind Champagnes. Crystalline, jewel-like firmness and immense mealy depth give these a Krug-like profile nearly unique among Blanc des Blancs. His wines are expressive and finely tuned from the Grand Cru villages of Le Mensil, Oger, Avize, and Cramant. The family's slice of the lieu-dit Les Chétillons is one of the finest bits of earth in Champagne.
Finest of all of Pierre Péters' wines is the Cuvée Spéciale, which is made from old vines in the Chétillons vineyard in Mensil and showcases the exceptional potential of Mensil's vineyards.
Rudolphe's Champagnes are served at The French Laundry, Balthazar, and Nobu, among other sensational restaurants.
